Last Monday ang pinkakadiring araw sa buhay ko! Umuwi kasi sila mama sa probinsya kasama sila Mommy at Auntie Nini nung Linggo kasi na mild stroke yung lolo namin, bless him. Siyempre ako ang incharge sa bahay pati sa tindahan kasi lahat ng naiwan sa dito e mga working people, ako lang ang petiks. Actually, nandito rin ngayon yung pinsan kong nagbabakasyon kaso wala siya nung nangyari ang karimarimarim na insidente! Tsktsk malas talaga. 

Dahil katatapos lang ng eleksyon(ayoko sanang i-mention ‘to kasi mukha na akong pulitika) e sumasabay sa pagiging petiks ko ang pangungulekta ng basura sa amin kasi nga naman wala pang maguutos at magpapasweldo sa kanila. So yun na nga tama iniisip mo, nagtambak ang basura sa amin! Idagdag mo pa na last Saturday e 1^st year death anniversary ng tito ko, so marami talaga kaming basura.

Sunday palang, nagstistink na yung basura namin. Kala ko nga patay na daga e, pinahanap ko pa kay mama bago sila byumahe. Pero syempre hindi niya nahanap. Pagising ko around 8:30, pagkatapos magwash e dumeretso na ako sa tindahan para magbukas. Magisa na lang ako sa bahay nun. Ewan ko ba bakit ako natulala sa may gripo at nakita yung maraming maggots. Isip-isip ko, “shet sabi ko na nga ba! I have to deal with this alone huhu”. Naasar pa ako kay mama kasi hindi niya nahanap yun, ako tuloy ang kelangan umayos.

Napagload tuloy ako ng wala sa oras. Tinawagan ko yung mama ko. Nagpanic kasi ako dahil hindi ko alam ang gagawin. Inisip kong tapunan ng asin kaso baka maging matabang yung lunch ko at dinner namin sa sobrang dami nila! Naiinis pa ako lalo kasi tinatawanan lang ako ng nanay ko, look who’s talking e takot nga siya sa uod ako nandididri lang, hehe. Sabi niya magpaiinit ako ng tubig  tapos ibuhos ko sa kanila. Grabeee halos sampung set ng tubig sa kettle ang napakuluan ko pero undefeated sila sa akin. Ang tibay! Hindi sila gaanong tinatablan ng maiinit na tubig. Mind you, sobrang init talaga nung tubig na binubuhos ko as in hinihintay kong sumipol yung kettle, scalding hot!

Matatalo na ako! Naco-conquer na nila yung tindahan namin. Shetness talaga, kadiri! Tapos nung accidentally naurong ko yung cooler, potek!, andaming maggots sa ilalim, huhu. Tapos nung inurong ko pa ulit may lumabas na ahas-like creature na sobrang bilis. Siguro ¾ ng ballpen yung length pero slimmer. Nagfreak-out talaga ako. Para akong bading na nire-rape sa pagtili ko. Alam kong hindi ako nag-iimagine, nakita ko talaga promise. It really scared the hell out of me, kaya ano pa bang gagawin ko e di umiyak na ako!  

Pero siyempre, hindi naman pwedeng titigan ko lang sila, kelangan ko silang i-exterminate kaya habang umiiyak at nakasampa sa upuan e binubuhusan ko sila ng maiinit na tubig(na hindi effective) at winawalis. Nakakahiya talaga!

Ang ending e hindi na ako naglunch kasi nawalan ako ng apetite. Ka-itsura niya kasi yung kanin e. Nagsarado ako ng tindhan kasi tinoyo na ako.

Kinabukasan may mga nag-alok na hakutin yung mga basura namin for hundred bucks. Hindi na ako nagpaalam. Pumayag na kagad ako kesa naman maulit pa yung nangyari sa akin… Gross!

Petty things I hate about some Senatorial candidates and TEAM UNITY!

Hehe, I’m really into politics nowadays. Siguro kasi dahil malapit na election pero tingin ko, it’s really what I get from having lots of idle time, hay bum me!

Karamihan dito mababaw lang, hindi naman ako politics aficionado natripan ko lang talaga, tsaka somehow impluwensyang peyups na din.

TEAM UNITY

As a whole ayoko ng TU kasi :

1. Si GMA may pakana nito, hehe

2. Asar sila sa result ng mga survey

3. They were saying that they won’t use celebrities on their campaigns and they will win this election even without them, but who says they won’t have an actor in their slate (Ok granted)? And after some time celebrities were overflowing on their T.V. ads na halos hindi na sila makita.

Recto and Montano, atleast pamilya nila yun kaya medyo ok lang. Noli de Castro is in office kaya pwedeng sabihin na ineendorse niya si Recto as a VP of the Philippines not as a broadcaster.

Some GO and independent candidates also have their shares of celebrity endorsers like Villar, Pimentel and Escudero, Lacson, Pangilinan, etc. pero wala naman silang claims na hindi sila gagamit ng artista, kahit pa sabihin natin na bandwagon o fallacy talaga yung pageendorse ng mga artista. 

If they can’t keep their simple words on issues of use celebrities on campaigns what more on bigger ones? Mga walang back bones!

4. Kept on saying they will win by 12-0, haven’t they heard of probability? What makes them so sure to say that? 

5. Bribing and vote buying, even the loko lokong Raul Gonzales said that he will be giving incentives for baranggays which can carry out a 12-0 win in favor of TU. Tapos dedma lang COMELEC, boo COMELEC boo!

1.     Pacute sa commercial niya with his wife 

2.     Before pinakita sa T. V. na bawal yung sobrang laking posters ng mga kandidato at kinumpiska yung mga posters nila. Sinunod naman ni Zubiri yun nung una pero after few days, eto nanaman yung mga tarpaulins niya sa HQ niya along EDSA na sinlaki ng mga pinto. I’m sure marami rin ganun na kandidato. Malas lang niya at nakita ko yung sa kanya one time na papasok ako ng school pero ang point dun is hindi siya marunong sumunod. Parang ang dating e he’ll do everything to win, tsaka if he can’t play with those simple rules ngayong tumatakbo pa lang siya what more kapag may power na siya?

3.     Too proud of his accomplishments and bills passed, here’s my take on that:

Being a public servant and a congressman, trabaho nila yung gumawa ng mga batas o reviewhin ang mga batas natin. I don’t think kelangan natin maging grateful kung ginagawa nila yung trabaho nila effectively kasi choice naman nilang tumakbo at akuin yung greater resposnsibility sa country natin. Kung ginagawa nila yung trabaho nila ng tama, then we must commend them, pero tingin ko wala tayong utang na loob sa kanila kasi trabaho talaga nila yun. Hehe ewan

          Ok sana siya, effective yung commercial niya talaga as in ang dami kong kakilala na gusto na siyang iboto dahil dun, pero hindi kasi makatotohanan yung tag line niya na “Pangarap kong tuparin ang mga pangarap niyo”. Isang pangakong sigurado akong mapapako lang. Paano kung gusto kong maging invisible, kaya ba niya yun?? Hehe. Plus allegedly siya yung nagtago kay GARCI sa Mindanao dati. Sige do the math, from not-so-kilalang Congressman to a Team Unity Senatorial candidate, possible di ba?

          Eerie yung commercial niya kasama yung asawa niya, binuhay? Tsaka lagi niyang kinakabit yung asawa niya sa pangalan niya

          Feeling ko talaga masama siyang tao, hehe sorry. Tska yung vote buying niya totoo yun. Yung pinsan ko na nagtratrabaho sa isang Hospital sa Alabang namigay daw dun si Chavit ng mga bus tickets paNorth, Bagiuo, Ilocos Sur, La Uñion, atbp.

            I don’t think he knows what he’s doing. Gusto ko siya as an actor and director pero not as a senator? Sabi niya dati sa interview, nung pumunta siya sa COMELEC para magfile ng candidacy hindi daw niya ineexpect yun akala niya magbrereakfast lang daw sila ng mga TU candidates. Heller? Ang bilis naman niyang napapayag. Tapos yung tanong sa extra-judicial killings sa kanya sa isang conference iba sinagot niya. Sabi nila fast learner naman siya, naniniwala ako dun pero kelan pa niya pag-aaralan yung mga issues ng bansa, pag senador na siya? E di nasayang yung time na sana may ginagawa na siyang worthwhile instead na nag-aaral pa siya. He needs more time I think.

2. Sabi niya sa commercial mahalaga ang pamilya pero nakipagaway pa siya sa kapatid niyang tumakbo before na Governor ng Batangas dahil sa gusto rin sanang tumakbo ni Vilma sa said posisyon. Ano ba talaga? Family o politics first?

Yun lang ulet, personal opinion ko lang to, hehe. Hindi kasi ako makakaboto e, huhu, kaya dito ako bumoboto. Pero, if given the chance eto iboboto ko, hehe

Isang Tanong Senatorial Forum: The Saga Continues…

Tinatamad na talaga akong gawin ‘tong second part ng reactions ko sa Isang Tanong Forum ng GMA, medyo kasi hindi maganda yung kinalabasan relative dun sa first part for me. Pero for the sake of keeping my word e ipopost ko na rin ‘to, hehe.
 

On Political Party, prinsipyo o personal interest
 

Loren Legarda: preferred two party system, I don’t agree with her though. Hindi naman lahat ng nasa opposition/administration party e parepareho ng pananaw sa  mga issues. I bet ngayon lang yan election para masabing in tack yung party nila pero pagkatpos labo-labo na; Sakto lagi sa time limit, hindi napuputol yung sinasabi.
Mike Defensor: Prinsipyo; Sabi niya yung mga nagpapalit ng partido e dapat parushan. It’s like saying that his running mates Tessie Aquino-Oreta and Tito Sotto should be reprimanded. Huh? Talking about Team UNITY, laglagan, tsk tsk.; When asked about youth’s welfare, he focused on health rather than the budget on education. Guilty kasi sapanggigipit ng budget sa education boo!; Quite defensive when asked about the “Hello Garci” tapes, yun tuloy hindi nasagot yung tanong, haha; Sabi niya wala siyang plataporma, then why is he running?. Wala naman pala siyang balak gawin e.  I DON’T LIKE him din! Di ba steph? Hehe.
Richard Gomez: Had his shares of commendable answers among the senatoriables; Matapang sumagot; Na-justify niya yung pagiging independent candidate niya; Yun nga lang puro sports and anti-drug campaign lang yung na-emphasized niya, issues he knows best; Minsan general din sumagot; Had a very nice suit, well-dressed!

Koko Pimental: What’s with the barong?, hehe; I think he’s an excellent lawyer and can be a good legislator; Persuasive speaker

Orpia: I can say he’s on Kapatiran party without looking at his profiles, Peace men! ;p

Panfilo Lacson: Pasimple sa pagsasabi sa mga bills na inisponsor niya; Knows what are his responsibilities as a senator; Answered safely on the issue of extra-judicial killings

Zosimo Paredes: Kapatiran as well; Galing niya in fairness kasi nakonekta niya yung sanctitiy of life sa creating bills on anti-drug advocacy

Victor Wood: Are you in drugs??, war freak; showbiz na showbiz ang dating, network war ang issue? wohoo; Bitter sa election campaign proceedings; In fairness din, may point siya sa paggamit ng mga government networks such as PTV 4(meron pa ba nito?), RPN 9 at IBC 13(e ito?) para maipakilala ang mga senatoriables, yun nga lang hindi yun yung tanong sa kanya. Mas masakit sa bangs ito!

Nagplay safe, pero sana sinagot niya yun kasi right naman ng mga tao na malaman yung ngfufuel sa party nila, isa pa nasa batas yun kaya hindi nila pwedeng sabihin na prerogative nila not to tell us!; I really don’t think he knows what he’s going into

Tessie Aquino-Oreta: Nung tinanong  kung sinong mas magaling na presidente GMA o Erap, kahit na sinabi niyang wala siya sa posisyon para magjudge e yung answers niya naglead pa rin kay GMA being the better one. Balimbing talaga.

What I think about some Senators…

I had watched yesterday a GMA 7 show featuring some senatorial candidates answering some issues regarding our nation’s status, their platform, profiles, etc. Here’s what I think about them, hehe. Pardon for those who thinks it’s offensive.

On Porkbarrel

 
Dr. Martin Bautista – Magaling sumagot; focused on education and health; hindi kilala though,

Migz Zubiri – does not answer questions directly; brags too much his credentials including being the most hardworking congressman and having his complete attendance in sessions, an airhead for me; wasn’t able to answer the issue of being the one of the top spender for election

Chiz Escudero - man of few words yet his words is very substantial; sharp tongued, obvious na opposition; speaks profoundly, would be better kung medyo mababaw lang para mas maintindihan. I like him anyway!

On changes you want for Senate

Antonio Trillanes – I liked it when he said he loves cooking, wala lang; I think he’s nervous ; got his backbone for not saying sorry about the Oakwood mutiny; brave

Nikki Coseteng – weird kasi matagal na siya sa Senado, syempre kung nakakita siya ng mali o pangit, bakit wala siyang ginagawa para mabago

Ed Angara – same with Coseteng; even promoted his relatives who were also running for this election, boo!

Sonia Roco - keeps mentioning her surname and her husband; sana nga hindi siya mangurakot

Chavit Singson  - nakakatuwa nang narattle siya sa tanong tungkol sa current adminstration's anomalies; deserved a dose of his medicine, feeling artista at magaling; too proud of being a long time governor of Ilocos Sur

Reunion

Four years had passed since I last joined the S.T.A. (I joined twice,  hehe), but, it was my fist time to attend their homecoming. This time my secondary school was the host school.

Many things had changed. I hardly know our school’s incoming officers.  I recognized some from their surnames, but I think I have my  excuse for not knowing them because they were grade six when I graduated high school. It’s sad that now, only 13 schools participated. I think that’s because C.A.T.-I at present, is not mandatory for secondary education. Ma’am April and Sir Sudoy were said to be getting married. I don’t know if it’s true or joket tme lang. Sir Niño lost weight. Ma’am Chris (part of the batch before us) was also there. She got married only this month. I was shock because I never imagined her getting married too soon. She and her husband look good together though. She graduated recently from PLM.

Syempre above all this, I enjoyed catching up with my friends. Only  few attended since going to the homecoming wasn’t planned. Bhudz is as kulit as ever! Cipres has stopped his schooling ;(. He’s now in a band. Carvi, like me has gained weight. He got a new phone from his ex-girlfriend, N80. We were teasing him because they had already broken up when the phone was given. Egie got a scholarship offer, but he’s still thinking about accepting it. Sam was supposedly there but her lolo died. Marvin got his new hairstyle. I really missed them! We were able to take some shots together but most of the pictures were blurred. 
 

I really hope to see them again very soon…

T.G.I. Friday’s on a Saturday: Adventures at Kalokohan

Last Saturday, pumunta kami sa tita ko sa Fairview para kunin yung longganisang uwi ng mga pinsan ko galing Ilocos. Grabe the best yung longganisang yun, yummy! Doon na din kami ng lunch sa tita ko. Nandun din yung mga pinsan ng mama ko. Hindi ko nga sila kilala e pero nakakatuwa, ganoon din kaya kami pagtanda? Hehe, ang weird kasi ng dating nilang magpipinsan, parang mini-reunion na din. Ang sarap din ng food dun, andaming crispy pata, huhu food na naman. At inallergy ako afterwards sa crispy pata na yan ha.

Sandali lang kami dun. Pagkatapos pumunta na kami sa Makati para bumili ng pillow covers para sa 1^st year death anniversary ng tito ko. Well, akala ko pillow covers lang yung bibilhin nila mama, but no. may kasama pillows talaga. Pretty ironic kasi sobrang dami na ng throw pillows namin. More than 20 siguro, na natatabunan na yung couch at hindi ka na makakaupo pag ginamit ng sabay-sabay. Pero sige yun yung gusto nila e, e di go. Kami nila kuya(cousin) at ej(bro), pumunta sa Toy Kingdom. Nagtingin kami ng gameboy ang liit nung micro na gameboy, ok lang. Maganda yung Nintendo DS Lite. May wifi ready ekek na siya at organizer. Basta cute siya, gusto ko nun!! Kaso nakastylus yun kaya nagdodoubt din ako kung mabilis ba talaga yung DS, baka kasi maghang. At etong si kuya parang praning. Matapos pahirapan yung saleslady sa pagsasalestalk sa kanya e bigla niyang tinakbuhan. Actually, babayaran na lang talaga yung gameboy, nasa counter na nga at nasa kanila na yung card ni kuya. Kaso ang tagal kasi talaga grabe as in dumating na sila mommy(tita) galing sa home stuff section e wala pa. Kaya yun, sabi niya sa sales lady hihiramin lang niya muna yung card may iswiswipe lang muna siyang iba. Syempre di na namin binalikan. Nakakakahiya talaga, madalas pa naman akong dumadaan dun from UP para magtingin-tingin ng laruan. Nakakatuwa kasi.

Syempre hindi pwedeng umuwi ng hindi kumakain. Kaya yun, NagFriday’s kami. Si Mommy nagpappicture kasama yung server, nakakatawa. Sabi na lang nila kuya e balikbayan si Mommy, halos maibuga ko na yung iniinom ko, hehe. Syempre nagpicture din ako ng food. Nahirapan lang akong kumuha ng magandang angle kasi tinatago ko yung phone ko sa ilalim ng tissue, hehe. Hindi ko din nakunan yung malalayo sa akin na food. Masarap yung food nila, lalo na yung chicken salad. Ok din yung fillet at camaron sa fisherman’s platter, di ko alam kung anong fish yun e. Masarap yung sauce ng baby back ribs nila. Yung fries, parang sa Max Brenner, hmmm good, good. Yung pasta Alfredo medyo bland para sa akin pero sabi nila mama masarap daw. Here’s the shots:

Household chores rants

I really hate washing the dishes!!!! Ewan ko ba kung bakit sa tuwing naghuhugas ako e nagiinit din ang ulo ko. Most people would prefer washing plates than any other domestic chores but I really despise doing it. It’s just so sad that this vacation, as it has always been, e magiging official katulong ako sa bahay namin and washing the dishes comes with it. Arrrrgh….

Obesity and Allergy

Hehe, ang taba-taba ko na talaga. Maybe this is the fattest I have been in 20 years of my life sa mundong ibabaw. I was watching my cousin’s wed video yesterday and oo nga, geesh. I better go on diet na kasi lately e bombarded ako with allergies. Either my fingers or my lips swell. Sabi ng nanay ko e allergies can cause heart failures, e nafefeel ko rin tuwing nagkakaallergy ako, setting aside my panic attack, e I’m also having this difficulty in breathing. I’m not ready to die. Not yet. So what should I do??? ANSWER: diet!!!! *wink*

Cramming, MP and the Grade

One of my theories why I’m having these unusual allergies is because of academic burn out, hehe wala lang. Nahaggard talaga kami sa paggawa ng MP grabe. Sobra kasi kaming naintimidate sa Machine Problem noong una that we usually end up staring blankly at each other. Actually relative to other CS 150 groups, we started earlier pero un nga dahil feeling namin na the project is too  big and hard e we learned and did it in the hard way as well. Hirap magdebug kasi umabot na sa 1000 lines ung code namin e hindi pa masyadong functional. Kaya prinint ko yung code para matrace, yun pala andaming unsued codes dun. After redoing the program, almost half ung na faced out namin. That’s when I started to understand our code, and mind you, that was the day before the submission. Nakapag overnight din ako kila Tina, it was fun experience for me. Pagkatapos nun e halos hindi na kami natutulog. We had passed the MP by Monday, 2 days after the deadline and it was rejected, what could be worse? Akala ko nga maiincomplete pa kami, pero mabait talaga si ma’am siguro hindi siya nagsubmit ng grades nun kahit na deadline na talaga nila the day na nareject yung MP namin.

And the verdict?

I was not really expecting for a very high grade since we passed our MP2 late, plus it still has bugs on it. I’m happy just by the fact that I didn’t get an INC mark on my class card, but no, I got a pretty good one, as in flat 1! I can’t believe it myself. Don’t know how it happened. Million thanks to Ma’am! And of course to God for making us get through this tiresome MP!

Summer Mis(sed)adventure

While I was painstakingly doing my MP2, my family was out there on some beaches enjoying the summer heat. They went to three beaches or so in Ilocos, they also visited the windmills and (gasp) the old lighthouse featured in Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho show. This is the second time I missed our vacation, arrggh. My first was way back in high school when I was supposed to join a CAT I quiz bee a day after their trip. And with the Murphy’s law working against me, the quiz bee was rescheduled. The contest resumed days after my family had gone back here in Laguna. I swear, there won’t be a third time. By the way, here’s a picture of Pagudpud… never been there, sad :c   

Nga pala, my cousins who also didn’t get to have their vacation in Ilocos had their fun in Tagaytay. Syempre di rin ako nakasama due to my MP, hehe kawawa talaga. Pero ok lang yun kasi malapit lang Tagaytay, madali lang pumunta dun. I missed the Starbucks’ Caramel Affogato, I missed Sonia’s and Leslie’s food, yun lang.

Ang Nawawala Kong Tulog…

At last  nahanap ko na! Nakatulog na rin ako ng mahabahaba. Ngayong week kasi e feeling ko ay sleep deprived ako pero kagabi nagdeclare ako ng rest night ko. Balak ko sana rest day ko ngaun e. Akala ko kasi sa Tuesday pa yung exam ko sa CS 150 pero sa panginip ko lang pala yun!!! Sa Lunes na pala sabi nga ni Elaine, fudge talaga!! Kaya warm-up ko to muna.  Dahil limang programming language pag-aaralan ko ngaun, namely Scheme, Prolog, Small Talk, JSP and PHP. Wala talaga akong idea sa SmallTalk, hehe. Late kasi ako nun time na dinuscuss yun eh. Papatulong na lang ako kila Helen, hehe!

Isn’t it morning already??

Hi!! I can't remember what's my last post supposedly was…. sad. Right now I'm thinking of nothing in particular. I just wanna flex my fingers' muscle some more at this wee hours.. These past few days I feel like I'm a thief stealing some time from my academics stuff for some naps. I can't even call it sleep 'coz it never lasted for more than 4 hours each night.. Yet this is what I'm doing…. I better shut my computer down and just finish my prayers this time… I always get asleep right in the middle of my prayers… 

I need some sleep… I better sleep… I need to wake up early for our Mp  meeting tomorrow  : |

My Very First

Hehe… After so long. This would be my very first post. Actually I intended to make some informative entry here pero obvious naman na hindi…. kaya eto I settled for something less to offer para sa ibang tao…my recent escapades

MOSQUITO BITES

At last I was able donate blood yesterday *yehey!* after being rejected twice before. Blood Letting was really on my virtual to-do-list (since there's really no tangible list ) that's why I'm glad that it was finally a dream come true hehe. My first try was on my first year sa AS steps, kahit nga walang naginvite sa akin go pa rin ako. I didn't knew then that there are many requirements for donating blood. Kala ko data basta tattoo free ka ok na syempre HIV free rin so inshort I failed. Low Blood pressure daw kasi ako nun e… hell week noon puro exams kaya I wasn't able to sleep well. My second try is for the uncle of mosi's friend at St. Luke's. Ibybypass ata siya nun so they needed blood for the operation. Syempre di pa rin ako tinanggap this time due to hemoglobin count. They said that it was normal, I just didn't meet their standard count, tsktsk. This time sa Eng'g Lobby naman. I was invited by Ken, my co-applicant before at Eng'g Soc. I immediately said yes but when it sinked into me natakot din ako pero since nakapagcompromised na ako go na… Ang daldaldaldal ko nga eh, maybe to overcome the fear. When the doctor offered me her hershey's kinuha ko kaagad nakakahiya kapal ng muha ko.

And How did it feel? Ok naman, masakit ung pagpasok at pagtanggal ng karayom. Nahirapan kasi silang hanapin ung ugat ko kaya masakit. I can't even look at it baka kasi magfreak-out ako tsaka naalala ko kasi ung Saw III funny though coz wala naman scene na ganun dun. Ung dugo mismo hindi mo mafefeel na lumalabas sa katawan mo, parang wala lang. Ang kulet ko daw sabi ni Ate papaluin na daw niya ako sa pwet kasi galaw ako ng galaw ninenerbyos kasi ako. My friends donated as well after I did.

Ang ending… I was absent at my IE3 class and I was late for MISYS company talk. They have given me me though food and stuff toy but this putting aside, it was really worth it. It's fun and funny experience for me plus it feels good knowing that you have somehow helped someone. Saya try niyo din hehe!!!

By the way the blood I donated was for National Kidney Transplant Institute and the event  was organized by EMC^2!!!!
